Many EMS providers have unusual conditions such as narrow streets or a tight station that require a small-profile vehicle to fit into those areas. A Type II Van does not provide them with the space and safety they require. However, the Excellance Metro Eagle provides that smaller profile and proves that a lot of features can be included in a small package.
Unlike mass-produced "mini-mods" with minimal payloads, questionable fabrication, and minimal features, the Excellance Metro Eagle provides you with a fully-welded aluminum module with a standard size of 146" length x 84" width and includes 66" of interior headroom. Best of all, this module is mounted on a 10,700# GVWR chassis with DUAL rear wheels for improved stability and better payload capacity. It also includes other "no-extra-cost" features as standard such as (4) large-capacity exterior compartments (including 2 with interior/exterior access), exterior vertical backboard storage, interior/exterior dual-access BLS/ALS kit storage, and abundant all-aluminum welded interior cabinets. Many additional options are available on this "custom-built" vehicle to suit an individual agency's specific requirements. Instead of shortcuts in design and materials that are found in the typical mass-produced "Mini-mods", the Metro Eagle is still built with all of the superior design and fabrication standards that set Excellance apart from other manufacturers.
